Happy New Year!
If you’ve seen our local calendar, you might have noticed the weekly events at 3in1 Cafe & Restaurant in Ocoee. Christian rapper, poet, and speaker Marcus “Unforgotten Child” Gaines opened the cafe in June 2014. He also has a clothing line called UC3 Clothing. It truly is a place to “Eat, Connect, and Relax” in a fun, positive environment.

Cee and I had our first visit the day after Thanksgiving for a Flavor Fryday.
The drinks (all non-alcoholic) have fun names like “Jesus Juice” and “The Living Water”.
I ordered the “Hit Singles & Platinum Track”, their version of chicken and waffles. It was delicious!
Attendees were able to lip sync to a variety of songs from worship to Christian hip hop that night. I was able to hear some new music as people picked out their favorite songs to perform.
We rocked out to Mary Mary’s God in Me. Cee is a natural! It was very fun!
I listen to more Christian Hip Hop so I decided to do Trip Lee’s “Shweet” later that night. Even Marcus did a song by Mali Music called “Ready Aim”.
I went back for their New Year’s Eve Dinner Party which included performances by Christian hip hop artists Aaron Cole and Roy Tosh. On Instagram, we recently posted Aaron’s song “Got No Choice” for our #GGSMuiscMonday which he performed that night. I had the veggie burger with “The Revival”, a homemade pink lemonade and pineapple blend. It was seasoned very well. Of course the night would not have been complete without Martinellis (sparking apple cider) at midnight!
Cee attended their New Year’s Day Event and enjoyed the 3in1 Worship Team.
We are expecting lots of awesome events in 2017 so be sure like their Facebook Page and join their email list to keep up with them! Past events have included game nights, youth nights, extreme musical chairs, and open mic poetry. 3in1 Cafe is a great alternative to going to a club and hearing the same secular music all the time. It’s also family friendly so you can bring your whole crew.

We had a GREAT time! The food was excellent; the atmosphere was awesome. Its so nice to see Kings Kids congregating and having clean fun in HIS name. Marcus the owner is so nice to everyone! God bless all staff there!
